Birth Doula Services
I am a professionally trained and certified Birth Arts International birth doula. Additionally, I am a mentee graduate of one of Philadelphia’s most well-known and respected Doulas, Lori Daley, and the mother of two children. Through support, education and conversation, I work with you (and partner) to help clarify your birth wishes as you prepare for a positive and joyful birth experience. Every birth is unique and I support all birth choices and outcomes. I am available to you the entire time we are working together. As the due date draws near we discuss labor, positioning and comfort measures. During labor I provide continuous support and comfort, including the partner in this work as much as possible. After the birth I will stay with you for a short period as you begin to bond with your baby.

24/7 on call availability from week 38-42 of your pregnancy

1 postpartum visit, usually within a week or two of your birth

Postpartum Doula Services
Modern society has created a separation between families, and between mothers. This distance and lack of physical, mental and emotional support can be especially trying as you begin your new life as a mother, or add to your journey of motherhood. As your postpartum Doula, I will work to help create space for you and your new baby to bond by supporting you and your family with whatever needs may arise. I bring 25 years of mothering experience and 10 years as an elementary educator to help ease the transition to motherhood or to help a growing family integrate, lovingly and peacefully.
